Eric Gonzalez is a self-disciplined software engineer based in Los Angeles with a passion for programming and development. He has over 5 years of relevant experience in the industry and is currently working as a Software Engineer at Extend View. Eric is a quick learner and enjoys working in dynamic environments where he is constantly needed and depended on. At Extend View, Eric is responsible for bringing mockups and PSD designs to life, building out a Django web application's front-end and back-end, and adding and improving features and functionality on the company's doctor portal. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Mentormint where he added new features and ideas to the platform, detected and found solutions for any bugs encountered, and worked on the Rails application where the current codebase would be migrated to. Eric also has experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern at Trumaker where he thoroughly tested and approved new features and designs on all Trumaker platforms, detected and documented bugs and errors, ran weekly regression tests to verify and ensure all Trumaker platforms were running as expected, and communicated with multiple teams to discuss and document new features to implement or bugs and errors to fix. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University and a High School Diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School. He is proficient in Software Engineering, Frontend and Backend Web Development, Django, QA, Ruby, and Test. Eric's curiosity and interest in technology have driven him to constantly learn new things to get the job done and he is always looking for new challenges to tackle.
