Eshwar Muthusamy is a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 3.35 years of experience in the field of cloud infrastructure. He is currently working at Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer in the cloud infrastructure team. Eshwar is a B Tech CSE graduate who is passionate about exploring various fields in computer science and seeing how they can be integrated through artificial intelligence. Eshwar has extensive experience in Agile Software Development, Python, Bash, Ansible, GitLab DevOps, Terraform, JSON, YAML, Linux, Docker, Openstack, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and more. He is a certified Kubernetes Administrator and has worked on multiple on-prem Kubernetes clusters that are actively used by multiple users. Eshwar is also an expert in developing and deploying solutions supporting hybrid cloud strategies. During his tenure at Cisco, Eshwar has been responsible for the development and operations of 15+ applications that are used to enable the Openstack cloud. He has also authored a Terraform module to install argocd via helm, which can be utilized by both on-prem as well as public cloud Kubernetes clusters. Eshwar is driving software automation and release process as a part of the team and is actively involved in multiple cross-team/scrum works to enable better collaboration and achieve desired results. Eshwar is a travel photographer and a mentor who enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer at Cisco, where he developed Terraform modules for the creation of Openstack load balancers, re-engineered an internal billing application to make it asynchronous, and migrated it from monolithic architecture to microservices deployed on Kubernetes. He was also responsible for the deployment and administration of GitLab version control and CICD application, which is used by 200+ users. Eshwar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Amrita University and has completed his school education from SBOA School and Junior College, Chennai.
