Faizan Khan is an experienced Head of AI Engineering with a strong background in Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning. He is currently working at Botminds AI, where he is building a large-scale Document Understanding AI Engine. He specializes in ML as a Service and follows the best practices of ML and Software Engineering. Faizan is a compassionate leader with a growth mindset who enjoys learning. Prior to his current role, Faizan worked at Izytech.in as a Software Engineer, where he developed and maintained websites for local businesses, non-profits, sports organizations, sports persons, hotels, and travel operators. He also worked as the Head of AI Engineering at Botminds, where he implemented the best of research and engineering in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and MLOps to build a world-class Document Understanding AI Engine. Faizan advised on ML Deliveries and Solutions to meet customer requirements and designed, built, maintained, and scaled robust ML code, ML as a service, and ML infrastructure. Faizan is a former First Class Cricketer and currently works as a Cricket Coach at Sikkim Cricket Association. He holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. Faizan also completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Holy Cross School. Faizan's TechStack includes AI, ML, Deep Learning, NLP, Research Scientist, infra, and Software Engineer.
