Farhan Ghumra is a Technical Lead at eInfochips, an Arrow Company, with over 10 years of experience in the software industry. He is leading a team of cloud engineers to build a metadata-driven, generic industrial IoT platform for the operating companies (OpCos) of a Fortune 500 American conglomerate manufacturer of industrial products with an annual revenue over $7 billion. Farhan has expertise in a variety of technologies, including C# .NET, NodeJS, Angular, Azure Service Fabric, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Device Provisioning Service, Azure Edge Runtime, Azure Active Directory B2C, Azure DevOps, Azure Event Hub, Azure Functions, Azure CosmosDB, Azure SignalR, Sendgrid, Twilio, and Google Maps. As Technical Lead, Farhan's responsibilities include requirement elicitation, preparing design documents, and story creation by following Agile methodologies, delivering high-quality, unit-tested, and defect-less robust code, ensuring that the project team members follow the coding standards and engineering processes and practices as defined, and preparing project metrics data and external/internal review and defects records. In these roles, he was responsible for attending project kick-off meetings, requirements elicitation based on SRS documents, following Agile methodologies for development, designing architecture of app and database, participating as lead developer in daily stand-up meetings, and working on multiple projects by keeping prioritized work at first. Farhan has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from RK University (formerly RK College of Engineering & Technology - GTU) and completed his HSC from Krishna Science School.
