In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at VMware, Farhan focused on building Kubernetes Operators for their platform. Farhan also worked on building a self-service model for deploying VDP-managed services for tenants, improving the peer code review process, and introducing behavioral tests to ensure their operators were well-tested before release. Prior to VMware, Farhan worked at Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer on the Secure Threat Services (STS) project. He worked on transitioning the firewall deployments from a centralized architecture to a decentralized P2P solution. Farhan also worked on implementing a Gossip-based Membership protocol as a mesh layer on top of the various connected routers and an in-memory shared key-value database that would contain information for configuration and version updates. Farhan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from SRM University.
