Farhan Saleem is an experienced Industrial Design Manager with over 10 years of experience in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry. He is skilled in understanding and realizing problems, need areas, and opportunities, design research, conceptualizing and idea generation, sketching, and realizing concepts in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) through Rhino3D, SolidWorks, Pencil and Marker rendering, and Photo-realistic rendering through Keyshot. Currently, Farhan is working as an Assistant Manager Industrial Design at ACG Worldwide. His key responsibilities include meeting with clients to establish the design brief, working on ideas as part of a team, sketching initial design ideas, identifying the suitability and availability of materials, producing detailed final hand drawings and specifications, making samples or working models, testing the design concept, researching materials, processes or market requirements, and making presentations to senior design management or clients. Prior to this role, Farhan worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at ACG's Science and Technology center, which is a Research and Development facility. He was responsible for strategically creating creative design solutions and executing them for the problems of Form & Aesthetics, Usability, Physical & Visual ergonomics, User Experience, Marketing, brand development, and Sales. He also worked as an Industrial Design Intern with ACG Worldwide, where he gained valuable experience in the field. Farhan holds a M.Des in Industrial Design focused in Industrial and Product Design from MIT Institute of Design, a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical from Jamia Millia Islamia, and a Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. He also completed his 12th and High School from Jamia Millia Islamia. Farhan's tech stack includes designer, test, research scientist, and product designer. He is a strong arts and design professional with a demonstrated history of working in the industry.
