Fateh Singh is a talented Software Engineer with 3 years of experience in enhancing smartphone experience of millions of Samsung customers using Java, Computer Vision & Machine Learning. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University and working as a Research Assistant where he has automated the deployment, configuration, and orchestration of a cluster of AWS instances using Ansible for seamless integration of multiple independently developed models into a single framework for coupled pandemic simulations. Fateh has developed multiple computer vision solutions and prototypes including a smart screenshot analyzer (SmartCrop) and Flicker removal image processing pipeline for slow motion videos. He has also contributed towards the development of various commercial projects including AutoMyTV (multi-device experience application connecting the smartphone to smart TV) and Galaxy Store. He has filed patents for 4 of his ideas and won Samsung AI hackathon 2020 by developing an NLP solution (SmartBrowser) that improves browsing efficiency of users. Apart from his academic and professional achievements, Fateh has also contributed to the development of perception systems of driverless cars at Project MANAS for more than 1 year. He has interned with Intel's driverless car team and developed deep neural network for simultaneous depth estimation and segmentation. He has also interned at Samsung and developed GPS and navigation technologies for personalized ETA estimation and Hotspot detection. Fateh completed his B.Tech in Computer Science in 2018 from Manipal University with a minor specialization in Intelligent Systems - AI, ML, NLP, and Social Network Analysis. He is an expert in Research Science, Software Engineering, Computer Vision, AI, ML, NLP, AWS, Mobile, Ansible, Image Processing, Integration, Neural Networks, Java, and Android. In his free time, Fateh loves to travel, watch YouTube, and sometimes Netflix too.
