Firdose Fathima is a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Vah Vah, a vocational education focused start-up backed by Sequoia Capital. She has over 2 years of relevant experience in recruitment and has built the recruitment engine from the ground up for a 100% women-led BD team with a focus on resources who specialized in vernacular languages. Firdose is a big people-person, which has helped her in her recruitment career. She enjoys talking to different people and helping them build their careers. She always goes above and beyond every task that has been assigned because of her love towards exploring and learning new things every day. Outside of work, Firdose enjoys art and craft and spends some time in poetry reading. She has a Bachelor's degree in Science from Smt. VHD Institute of Home Science, Palace Rd, Bangalore-1. In her previous role as a Recruitment Manager at J2L Technologies, an ed-tech and enterprise-focused recruitment agency, Firdose set up the entire recruitment business for the erstwhile manpower training and digital services-focused company. She scaled up within the organization from an intern to a team manager and led a team of 15 to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from candidate sourcing, interviews, offer negotiations across multiple clients. She managed monthly targets of 100+ hired candidates across levels and onboarded 15+ colleges for placements and internships. Firdose is a driven and passionate HR professional who is committed to building strong teams and helping individuals achieve their career goals.
