Firdous Bano is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Java, Python, C/C++, and application development. She holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from IIIT Bangalore and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Raipur. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Firdous has honed her technical skills in various languages, databases, and frameworks such as PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, Saltstack, TICK framework, ELK stack, and Kafka. Currently working as an SDE III at Flipkart, Firdous is part of the FCP/IAAS team, where she is responsible for developing and maintaining the cloud platform. Prior to this, she worked as a Software Engineer II at Cisco, where she handled end-to-end development of an analytics framework for Mass Infrastructure Group. The application was responsible for propagating controlled telemetry data in a reliable manner from hundreds of thousands of routers/switches to a Time Series Database and real-time Analytic engine. Firdous has also been recognized for her academic achievements, having been awarded a Gold Medalist in B.Tech from NIT Raipur. She has also published two research papers, including 'Use of Silicon-based Sensors for System Reliability Prediction' in IEEE IRPS(International Reliability Physics Symposium) 2020 conference and 'Quality of ERP Implementation: Case study of select Indian organizations' in International Conference on Quality Management 2014. In addition to her technical skills, Firdous is a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
