Firoz Anwar is a Senior Technical Lead (Android) at Paytm with over 9 years of professional experience in architecting and developing Android applications. He has a domain experience in web-based Android apps, video technology, and payments. Firoz has designed and developed a high-performance and scalable Android SDK where Paytm's major vertical runs on top of it. He has participated in technical and planning meetings, accurately estimated future tasks, and proposed technical solutions. Firoz is well-versed with Android's architecture components like ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager, Navigation, Lifecycle aware components, and has sound knowledge in Android's advanced technologies like Dagger2, RxJava, and Design patterns. He is proficient in customizing AOSP source codes to provide android OS solutions. Firoz has delivered more than 12+ products like News App, Search App, QuickLook News App for Micromax Android TV, Backup & Restore, AOSP Music Player & Gallery customizations for Karbonn devices, Weather Widgets and Launcher for Panasonic, Survey apps for NGOs, and various android library projects. He has good perception of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts, Exception handling, Threading, and Collections. Firoz has hands-on experience with Kotlin and Flutter and has basic knowledge of Android NDK. He has deep knowledge of Android WebView and Alipay's H5 technology. Currently, Firoz is working as an Android Technical Lead for Mini Apps Program in Paytm. The Mini App Team is one of the core teams of Paytm where most of the Paytm's vertical use their technology (Android SDK) for their vertical/business. Paytm Mini App Store has more than 500+ external apps that run on this platform. Apart from that, most of the internal verticals like Setting, 24x7, insurance, Paytm First, events, Paytm Bank, etc., also use mini app technology to run their pages. Firoz has worked on scalability, security, and optimized web view experience where any app can use mini apps platform and leverage this technology to give similar or better user experience than native having less development effort.
