Florian Rival is the Founder and CEO of GDevelop, a game creation platform that aims to make game development accessible to everyone. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Florian has a strong background in software engineering, product design, and frontend development. Before founding GDevelop, Florian worked as a Software Engineer at Google, where he was part of the Android Games team. His work focused on improving gaming on Android by introducing support for multiple Texture Compression Formats to Android App Bundles with Play Asset Delivery, developing the Android Performance Tuner and the Android Frame Pacing library, and working on the libraries of the Android Game Development Kit. Florian also worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook, where he built applications for managing Facebook Data Centers. Florian holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. Florian is currently hiring for several positions at GDevelop, including a Product Marketing Lead, a Content Creator, a Product Designer, and a Game Creator Success Manager.
