Francis Babalola is a seasoned Software Engineer and Blockchain Developer with a passion for building web applications that solve real-life problems using the MERN stack. He is skilled in designing and implementing secure and robust API infrastructures, and he is always looking for new things to learn to keep up with security and best practices. With over 2.68 years of relevant experience, Francis has built and led teams to develop web applications following system architecture design principles. Francis is a graduate of the University of Ibadan, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is also an alumnus of the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology, where he obtained an Entrepreneurship Certification in Entrepreneurship and Technology. Francis is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Paximity, where he is building a blockchain infrastructure for global payments across borders. He has also built a waitlist page to gather leads from interested users and developed a robust and secure API that integrates with third-party providers to increase functionality and speed using Node.js and TypeScript. Francis has also worked primarily on building the mobile application MVP using Flutter. Francis has a passion for human growth and believes that humans can do more than what they think they can using technology. He has trained over 200 people to become seasoned Software Developers using engineering best practices and also making them adapt to remote working culture. He has also recruited talented engineers that delivered 120% on sales targets and also scaled down the cost of server usage. Francis is a creator and blockchain developer of the PFP NFT project known as Mysteek Faces, which is currently on Opensea and Rarible. He created the smart contract for the NFT project with Solidity using the ERC-721 token standard and deployed it to the Polygon Network. He also designed the 4,999 NFT arts using Figma and minted them on the blockchain using IPFS for storage and file sharing. Francis also built a DAPP minting website where users can mint their NFTs using Node.js and web3.js. Francis believes in a decentralized world where everyone has the power of control, which inspired him to venture into building decentralized applications (dApps) using Solidity and Web3.js. In addition, he is secretly a penetration tester and loves building applications that solve the world's problems.
