Franco Voisard is a passionate software engineer with a strong background in electronics, programming, and development. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Pocket Duck Games, where he is responsible for designing, developing, and coding functionalities that improve the development process and speed up new games. He has valuable experience in Unity development using C#, microservices using Kotlin, and Node applications using Javascript. Franco is an expert in the videogame industry and has worked on several projects, including developing and programming hyper-casual games for iOS. He has developed more than 16 videogames shipped and has experience along all the production process of videogame development, including being the producer in some projects. He is also an undergraduate in Videogame and Digital Entertainment Production, where he is gaining valuable knowledge and experience. Franco's technical skills include SOLID, TDD, IDD, DDD, and a large set of tools that allow him to choose the better option that fits a project. He has experience refactoring legacy code and doing performance optimization. He has little experience with Burst, DOTS, and ECS systems and is eager to learn more. He has integrated a CI pipeline for Unity Projects using Github Actions and has experience in backend working with Kotlin. He also has a bit of knowledge in Node with Javascript and has developed a discord bot in Node. Franco is a team player and has a bit of experience in team management. He loves challenges and won a Game Jam. He is working hard to become an expert in software craftsmanship and loves to give and receive feedback. Franco is a valuable asset to any company in the videogame industry and beyond.
