Frederic Court is the Founder and Investor at Felix Capital, a London-based VC firm that manages over $600m across several early-stage and growth funds. With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry across France, the UK, Italy, and the US, Frederic has been a VC since 2001, first with Advent Venture Partners as General Partner in London. He launched Felix Capital in 2015, focusing on digital lifestyle opportunities, backing new digital brands, platforms, as well as related enabling technologies, in Europe and the US. Frederic's investment strategy is in line with investments made previously, including Farfetch, Zong, Vitrue, Dailymotion, or Olapic. Notable investments with Felix include Farfetch, Peloton, Deliveroo, Mirakl, goop, Yoobic, Juni, VanMoof, Mejuri, HungryPanda, Moonbug, Travelperk, Oatly, etc. He has been honored twice as "Investor of the Year" in Europe by his peers at the "Investor All Stars" event in 2012 and again in 2019. Prior to his venture capital career, Frederic was an entrepreneur in France, building a VC-backed online marketplace for the textile industry, and before that a technology investment banker with Lazard, in London and New-York. He holds a degree in economics from Universita Bocconi (Milano) and a degree in business from ESSEC Business School. Currently, Frederic is an Investor at Juni, a mobile banking platform for e-commerce and online businesses. He is also an Investor at Ledger, a digital asset security company, and Creative Fabrica, a social marketplace providing digital assets, tools, and inspiration for a global community of creatives. With almost 30 years of relevant experience in the industry, Frederic is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with a keen eye for digital lifestyle opportunities.
