Freeze Francis is an experienced software engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry. He is currently working as an Associate Development Manager at Agoda, where he is responsible for enhancing the pulse marketing systems to meet new initiatives in increasing hotel participation and marketing exposure, solving scalability challenges in their systems for their increasing business needs, making pulse marketing systems a platform for marketing initiatives in other products, leading a small team of 5 developers, and actively involved in the hiring process by interviewing candidates for all backend engineer roles. Prior to this, Freeze worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Agoda, where he was involved in building a scalable self-service campaign management system from scratch, maintaining and building systems used by customer service agents for flights and new multi products, building the foundation in CEG systems for the packages multi product, and extending it to support other multi-product initiatives like hackerfare. He was also responsible for building the backend for several self-service features like resend confirmation, fare rule policies, etc. for the flight product aimed to reduce CEG touchpoints. Freeze holds a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences from iiit Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from nit Calicut. He also completed his High School education in Mathematics and Science from Devamatha CMI Public School. With a tech stack that includes Backend, Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Frontend, Freeze has relevant experience of 6.94 years in the field. He is a strong engineering professional and a mentor with excellent problem-solving skills.
