Fu-Jen (Richard) Chu is a Senior Research Scientist at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) with a Ph.D. from Georgia Tech. Prior to joining Facebook, Fu-Jen worked as an R&D Intern in Computer Vision and Embedded Systems at Texas Instruments and as an R&D Intern in Machine Learning and Computer Vision at Volvo Group. He has also contributed to several research projects during his academic career, including developing a robotic system for autonomous manipulation tasks and a deep learning-based system for recognizing human activities in videos.
