Fyonn Oh is a highly skilled and passionate software developer with a strong background in both frontend and backend development. Currently a penultimate year computer science student at the National University of Singapore, Fyonn has gained extensive experience in software and database engineering. Fyonn is currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at transferfi, where he has deployed and built a website for data visualization using Grafana. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer at Codomo Pte Ltd, where he designed and prototyped UI/UX using Figma and developed frontend using Html, CSS, and Javascript for the product website. He also worked with multiple stakeholders to develop the backend of the company's latest client-facing product website using Ruby on Rails and deployed it with Heroku. Fyonn also produced an early working product for an award-winning cross-platform mobile game using Unity and designed and iterated on new game mechanics for the latest release tailored to younger users. Fyonn has also worked as a Software Developer at Portcast, where he developed a web scraping application with Selenium and Scrapy, integrated with Zyte Proxy Manager, Prefect Flows, and FastApi to obtain geospatial time-series data. He deployed the web scraping application with Docker and AWS ECS and performed graph visualization and temporal analytics using Python (Plotly) to benchmark data reliability and consistency from different providers. Fyonn also developed a web application Customer Operations tool using Plotly's Dash to re-engineer faulty data, automating the Quality Assurance process, and saving the company 10 hours a week. He set up CI/CD configuration with Docker and deployed the Dash application with AWS Fargate. Fyonn also ingested and queried Hasura database with GraphQL and reached out to new potential international competitors and clients to facilitate new business partnerships.
