Fyse Nassar is an accomplished Software Engineer and Machine Learning enthusiast with a strong academic background in Computer Science Engineering and Machine Learning. With a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from P A College of Engineering, Mangalore, Fyse has gained extensive experience in various roles, including Research and Teaching Assistant at IIT and Software Engineer Intern at Dremio. As a Software Engineer at Dremio, Fyse has successfully led the effort to provide Java 11 runtime support to the existing codebase, ensuring backward compatibility. He has identified and resolved various bugs in dependent libraries, resulting in a more stable and efficient system for clients. Fyse has also conducted a comprehensive analysis of various modern low-latency garbage collectors and their performance for Dremio's workloads, resulting in improved system performance and stability for customers. Fyse is proficient in C, C++, Python (Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas), and PyTorch, and familiar with SQL, TensorFlow, and Google Cloud. He has a passion for working on ideas from different disciplines in tandem with different people, and has taken on various leadership roles, including mentoring undergraduate students and coordinating institute-wide research events. Fyse is graduating in 2021 and is interested in a full-time Software Engineer or Machine Learning role. He is a Research Scientist with a strong background in ML, SQL, Scikit, qa, TensorFlow, Pandas, Pytorch, Python, Java, and Spring.
