Gabe Hernandez is a co-founder and CTO of Rebel Space Technologies, a company that specializes in machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing. With a formal background in physics and applied experience in computer science, Gabe loves the challenges presented by the intersection of these two fields. Gabe is a UCSB Physics alumni with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California and the University of Texas. He has over 3 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. Prior to co-founding Rebel Space, Gabe worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at Slingshot Aerospace, where he developed an orbital mechanics simulation from scratch using C++ and QT Framework. He also collaborated with the San Diego Zoo Conservancy on the integration of embedded RF software onto an Nvidia Jetson board and DJI drone for real-time analysis. In addition, he played a key role in developing a python RF algorithm on SDR based platform for radio signal processing. Gabe's tech stack includes senior software engineering, computer vision, machine learning, python, and integration. He is passionate about developing cutting-edge technology solutions that address complex challenges. Currently, Gabe is leading the technology team at Rebel Space Technologies, where they are building innovative solutions for clients in various industries.
