Gabriel Bechara is a Partner Sales Engineer at Google Cloud with over 28 years of relevant experience in the field of software and enterprise architecture. He has a strong background in PreSales, having led multiple presales processes with the Middleware and PaaS sales team throughout the entire sales cycle from discovery to solution mapping to the closing of deals. Gabriel has also presented products, solutions, and architectures to customers and partners and has participated in multiple Proof-of-Concepts as a team leader or as an expert in a team or standalone. He has a strong involvement in Enterprise Architecture presales engagements, delivering presentations at Enterprise Architecture events/summits, acting as an advisor in global deals, advising large clients for adopting middleware technologies on the enterprise strategic level, delivering Discovery/Reference Architecture/Governance Workshops. Gabriel is also an experienced architect and advisor on large projects, providing practical experience and feedback on concepts that can provide a foundation for building new information systems. He has been involved in all phases of those projects from inception to production. Gabriel has acted as an architecture thought leader for the local French team and had a strong involvement in a World Wide SOA practice community for defining global SOA related methodologies. He is TOGAF 9 certified and has expertise in Platform as a Service (PaaS), Microservices, DevOps, Business Process Management (BPM/BPMN), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), SOA Governance, Enterprise and Application Architectures, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Message Oriented Middleware, Java EE, Web Services, and more. Gabriel's past experiences include working as a Cloud Presales Engineer at Microsoft and a Principal Presales Solution Architect at Red Hat, where he was the Pre-Sales leader for France on PaaS (OpenShift), DevOps, and the JBoss Middleware portfolio. He acted in collaboration with marketing, product management, business units, sales, consulting, local and regional leadership teams, and acted as lead account (enterprise) solution architect on strategic accounts. Gabriel holds an Advanced Master in Management of Information Systems and Telecommunication Networks from ESSEC Business School and Telecom Paris and a degree in Electrical Engineering from ESIB with a
