Gabriel Spencer-Harper is the Founder and current CEO of Meticulous, an AI-powered software testing platform that makes UI tests easy to create and maintain. With over 4.69 years of relevant experience in the industry, Gabriel has a strong background in software engineering, AI, and web development. Before founding Meticulous, Gabriel worked as a software engineer at Dropbox and Opendoor. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Mandarin Chinese from the University of Warwick. At Meticulous, Gabriel leads the team in building a distributed system that concurrently replays thousands of sessions, allowing developers to get results in seconds. He also works on developing algorithms to detect sessions that cover differing code paths and edge cases, and ignore sessions that are too similar. Additionally, he is responsible for building a team of world-class, highly collaborative software engineers. Meticulous is backed by influential figures such as Jason Warner (CTO Github), Lachy Groom, Guillermo Rauch (founder of Vercel and author of next.js), and Scott Belsky (CPO Adobe). The platform helps its customers find bugs before they hit production by automatically recording thousands of real user sessions and replaying them on any proposed code change. Unlike Logrocket and Sentry, Meticulous finds bugs in a zero-effort way for its customers.
