Gabriela A. is a highly motivated and talented computer science student at VU Amsterdam, with a passion for software engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently, she is working as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where she is part of the backend engineering team. Gabriela has been working with Serverless using AWS CDK and TypeScript, which has given her a solid foundation in cloud computing and backend development. Before joining Amazon, Gabriela worked as a Junior AI Developer at Kimo, where she was responsible for Conversational AI Development using the Rasa framework. She also worked as an NLP intern at Kimo, where she gained valuable experience in natural language processing. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, which she is expected to complete in 2023. Prior to this, Gabriela completed 60 ECTS towards a Master's Degree in Language Technology at the University of Gothenburg. She also holds a BA in Communication and Information Studies from Radboud University and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Modern Languages Dutch-English from the University of Strasbourg. Gabriela's technical skills include software engineering, AI, AWS, backend development, and NLP. She has a strong proficiency in TypeScript and is constantly expanding her knowledge of new technologies. Gabriela has 1.43 years of relevant experience, which has given her a solid foundation in the tech industry.
