Gagandeep Sharma is a highly qualified IT developer with over 10 years of experience in developing highly available and scalable applications and products in various domains such as Hyper-converged Infrastructure, Distributed Systems, Virtualisation, Engineered Systems, Retail and Telecom. He is well-versed in all stages of software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, designing, development, and deployment. Gagandeep has a prolific experience in Product Development using Java/J2EE/SQL while having extensive exposure in Collections, Multi-Threading, Maven, EJBs. He has a strong exposure to Spring and Hibernate/JPA and is proficient in the use of Oracle Tools such as Toad, SQL Developer, Squirrel, Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes(K8s). Currently, Gagandeep is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, where he is leveraging his hands-on experience in developing scaled solutions/projects. Prior to this, he was a Software Engineer at Cisco, where he developed management services for Cisco Hyperflex hyper-converged infrastructure platform. He was also a Senior Software Developer at Oracle, where he developed a Patch detection and recommendation tool for Enterprise Database upgrades using Java, Spring boot and Oracle Database as backend. Gagandeep holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from ABES Engineering College. He has a rich background of working with cross-functional teams in multi-cultural and multi-facility environments.
