Gajapathi Rao Chintu is a Software Engineer III at Google, where he is responsible for building safer Google Pay. He is a graduate of India's top engineering college, IIT Madras, where he earned a degree in Computer Science. Passionate about system designs and exploring various infrastructures, Gajapathi is particularly interested in fintech. Prior to joining Google, Gajapathi worked as a Software Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he gained hands-on experience with a range of technologies and projects. He was involved in the migration of GS-Recruiting system, where he developed conversion and integration application layers for migration to a newly purchased vendor. He also volunteered in building an RTO (Return to Office) dashboard for wellness users during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he developed a machine learning model to categorize resumes into different job categories, giving relevancy scores, which reduced the work of GS-India recruiters significantly. Gajapathi also streamlined all offline processes happening between the compensation office and employees using BPMN workflows and E-Tasks. Gajapathi has a diverse and impressive tech stack, including Kubernetes, ML, Jupyter, Word2Vec, Pandas, Spring, Integration, and Web.
