Before joining Google, Gajendra worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Walmart, where he led the Search Runtime team to re-architect some of the key components of the Search Stack. He also worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Walmart, where he set up the Evaluation and Metrics team to track some of the important metrics to improve Search Quality. Additionally, he used in-house retail Graph to power Semantic Search by building Ontological Query Understanding and SKU Understanding Modules. He also solved some of the key Search Problems for Walmart.com using innovative solutions using state-of-the-art technology. Gajendra holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from MNIT, where he studied from 2006 to 2010. Gajendra's technical skills and experience make him a valuable asset to any team.
