Ganesh is a seasoned engineering leader with over 13 years of experience in building and managing high-performing software development teams. He is currently leading the engineering team at Amazon Textract, a machine learning solution that automates text and data extraction from scanned documents. Ganesh is skilled in designing and building cloud-based SaaS products and has worked for big retail giants such as Walmart, Lowes.com, IKEA.com, QVC.com, Lee.com, Wrangler.com, TNF.com, and Vans.com. Ganesh is a certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance and has experience leading and managing multiple software development teams, providing coaching, mentoring, setting goals, and recruiting talent. He is an experienced engineering manager/leader, architect, and full-stack developer with excellent mentoring skills. Ganesh has exposure to a wide variety of problem spaces and technologies and is responsible for scaling, performance, and quality for his team. He conducts code and design reviews and architecture decisions, and has quick and excellent problem-solving skills. Ganesh has experience in Agile, iterative, and parallel development models. He is organized, result-oriented, and has worked on projects involving optimization problems through algorithms. He has built enterprise SaaS data science-driven products on the cloud for next-generation distribution centers and fulfillment centers, optimizing space utilization, enabling efficient picking, and minimizing the number of moves. Ganesh has also worked on data science-driven slotting, real-time event-driven replenishment, re-warehousing, SKU profiling, and warehouse simulation. Ganesh has a post-graduate degree in Cloud Computing from GLIM and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Heritage Institute of Technology.
