Ganesh Bushnam is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Striim, where he has taken on the responsibility of leadership in design and development. He has designed and integrated support for ‘Ongoing synchronization’ (change data capture) to the product and worked on billing integration for the new product. Ganesh has also been the single point of contact for Streamshift development management and has worked closely with other teams such as SaaS, platforms, QA, UI, and PM/Doc teams. He led the general availability release effort for the product and launched the product on SaaS in January 2022. Ganesh has streamlined the whole hiring process, both on-campus and for experienced candidates, and has made templates for new teams to follow. Prior to Striim, Ganesh worked as a Software Engineer at The Advisory Board Company and Athena Health. At The Advisory Board Company, he owned the data platform tools as a front-line contact and groomed feature requests from end-users. Ganesh also designed and implemented features without product management help and migrated features from the old technology tool to the new framework using design patterns. He received an Exceeds Expectations rating in the mid-year review for showing ownership skills and being an independent engineer in Chennai for the data platform. At Athena Health, Ganesh developed full-stack features for the product AthenaCollector and worked closely with the product innovation team to review feature designs and achieve them technically. He also implemented back-end algorithms for requested features, including Perl modules and Oracle queries, and added necessary front-end code in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Ganesh developed an internal tool - Automated Scrum Tool - to pull work by each member in the scrum team and generate metrics used by the scrum master to compare periodic performance. Ganesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from MIT, Anna University Chennai, and completed his Higher Secondary education in Computer Science from Vellayan Chettiyar Higher Secondary School. He has relevant experience of 9.70 years and possesses skills in software engineering, product management, QA, integration, UI, Amazon Athena, Javascript, frontend, and backend. Ganesh is a problem solver, and his ability to streamline processes and take on leadership roles makes him a valuable asset to any team.
