Ganesh Gawande is a retired professional who is currently studying the Bhagavad Gita. With over 11 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in design and architecture, optimization, execution and management, and team management. Ganesh has expertise in designing and architecting scalable IoT, M2M, and telematics cloud-based platforms to support 50,000 connected IoT devices. He is proficient in designing different types of communication protocols over TCP, HTTP, BLE, MQTT, and other cutting-edge IoT technologies such as Bluetooth, BLE, iBeacon, RF, ZigBee, etc. Ganesh has also managed projects on different technologies such as .Net, Android, and iOS. He has designed Android-based applications to automate the survey process of millions of on-field assets, production utilities for fastening the process of assembly and testing of the devices in production, and software test jig applications to increase the manufacturing output from tens of devices to hundreds of devices in a day. Ganesh has worked on smart cities, smart lighting, and smart metering tenders to understand requirements, to check technical feasibility, and effort estimations. He has also executed end-to-end lighting and metering products, which includes coordination with cross-functional teams, prioritization, escalations, and managing clients. He has expanded development teams from 5 to 12 professionals, interviewed and recruited new candidates, and handled teams of various sizes. Ganesh has conducted timely feedback meetings with team members and appraisals, mentored and motivated team members to take initiatives and ownership. Ganesh has worked with companies like Infogain and Nedbank, where he has served as a Technical Lead and has been responsible for architecture design of large-scale IoT solutions using Azure services. He has also designed integration between existing banking platforms/mainframe systems, coordinated with offshore teams for deliverables, and tracked status. Ganesh holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from Abasaheb Garware College and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Modern College, Pune. He completed his high school education from N.M.V. High School. Ganesh is proficient in Azure, Android, Senior Software Engineering, test, product management, iOS, Mobile, CI/CD, Redis, DevOps, Web, Microservices, and Integration.
