Garima Kumari is a Senior Engineer at Maersk with over 5 years of relevant experience in the payment industry. She is a skilled engineer with expertise in building highly scalable microservices in Go, Java, Kafka, Cassandra, MySQL, and various other tech stacks. Currently, Garima is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Paytm in the core UPI team. She is responsible for designing and developing onboarding use cases of the UPI ecosystem, such as device-binding, balance enquiry, validate VPA, add bank account, and more. Prior to her current role, Garima worked as a Software Engineer at Visa, where she was part of the Open VisaNet team. Her role involved building microservices-based multi-datacenter payment processing applications. Additionally, she is currently working on a web-based application that provides a single window to perform all kinds of administrative actions on the cluster like upgrading services with zero downtime. Garima is also a Core Team Member and former Marketing and Sponsorship Head at Innerve, where she gained valuable experience in team management and leadership. Garima holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women and completed her 12th grade in non-medical from Venkateshwar International School Sec-10 Dwarka.
