Gaurab Ray is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with over 8 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he is serving as the Head of Technical Campus Recruitment for TCS India, where he is responsible for leading a team of recruiters and fulfilling all the Trainee requirements across various disciplines such as Science, Engineering, Management, Chartered & Cost Accountants, Content Writers, Legal, UI & UX Designers, Commerce, and more. He is also responsible for managing the talent acquisition function for 5 TCS facilities across India. Gaurab has significant experience in both lateral and fresher hiring. In his previous role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for TCS India East, he was responsible for lateral hiring in units like EIS & IOT, BFSI, Platform Solutions, and more. He also contributed towards Pre-Placement Discussions and Post-Offer Engagement by leveraging social media platforms like Campus Commune to attract students to be part of various online gamified contests, Business Unit communities, etc. for ensuring a healthy joining ratio. Gaurab holds an MBA in HR from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, where he specialized in Human Resource Management. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Symbiosis International University and completed his high school education from La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata. Gaurab's technical expertise lies in UI design, and he has a strong track record of leveraging social media platforms and gamified hiring contests to attract and retain top talent. He has also organized and managed various campus-related events and faculty development programs, demonstrating his excellent relationship-building skills.
