Gaurang Patel is a Senior Software Engineer at Zapr Media Labs with a passion for building products from the early stages. With a relevant experience of 3.78 years, he has contributed to various projects related to product development and open source technologies related to big data. Currently, he is working as a Lead Engineer at Samsung, enabling ad-campaign reporting and insights through setting up data pipelines. Gaurang has a Bachelor's degree in ICT with a minor in CS from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. During his tenure at Zapr, he was responsible for understanding and shaping the product alongside working as a backend developer. He wrote a backend server using Express and Apollo Graphql with MongoDB as a database and developed an authorization module for the product called voice audit analytics. Apart from his professional work, Gaurang enjoys writing, poetry, sketching, and listening to music.
