Gaurav Kumar Gupta is an accomplished Engineering Manager with over 10 years of experience in designing and developing high throughput and low-latency back-end systems for cloud-based services. Currently, he leads a team of 15+ high-performing individuals at Adobe Content Platform, where he is responsible for driving key initiatives across multiple services. Gaurav's expertise lies in Distributed Systems, Software Design, Microservices, Event-Driven Systems, and Machine Learning. At Adobe, Gaurav is leading the development of Service Container, a central monolith component that manages files hierarchy in cloud storage and lifecycle of assets along with metadata, version, etc. He is also driving impactful initiatives like Quota Service, which manages Quota Resource lifecycle of an asset in Adobe Content Platform and is the authority of truth for maximum available storage. Additionally, he is leading the development of Content Logs, which serves enterprise needs to track information relating to events, people, and content for regulatory compliance and security reasons. Another significant project that Gaurav is leading is the Adobe Notification System (ANS), a centralized real-time personalized notification delivery solution being used by more than 120+ Adobe creative, experience, and document cloud products. Before joining Adobe, Gaurav worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Home Services, where he developed the Seller Profile Page displaying background checks, including integration with Yelp Rating/Reviews, showing similar products, and Technician Application to serve orders. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung, where he developed Hidden Menu for Samsung Smart Phones for US mobile carrier clients like Sprint, Boost, Verizon, and Virgin, which is used for configuring the device with network, system, and software settings parameters with the help of secret codes through OEM commands with RIL & Modem. Gaurav holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He is proficient in technologies like Java, AWS, DynamoDB, Redis, Pipeline (Kafka), Spring framework, Netflix open-source libraries, Cassandra, Android, and more.
