Gaurav Agarwal is a startup specialist with a proven track record of rolling out new concepts in the banking and fintech space. He has diverse experience leading large teams across corporate sales, customer support, and banking operations. Gaurav is passionate about empowering team members and believes in winning together. Currently, Gaurav is the Head of Partnerships and Alliances at Niyogin, where he is responsible for strategic alliances and partnerships for lending products, vendor finance, supply chain, escrow, API-enabled fintech, and digital products like LI, GI, MF, Demat, and HRMS. He has also worked with unsecured BL, PL, and gold loans. Prior to joining Niyogin, Gaurav served as Senior Director of Key Accounts (BD & Marketing) at Mint International. While there, he set up the inside sales function and added 18 new contracts from targeted accounts for non-tech hiring, leading to a 22% increase in revenues from this vertical. He also renewed three existing accounts that had gone cold and secured references from them. Additionally, he hustled to build and launch an HRIS SaaS-based product targeted at young startups and SME companies. Gaurav is a visiting faculty member at N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research and has taught courses on sales and marketing. He holds an MBA in Marketing from N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Sathaye College, and a High School degree from St. John Evangelist High School. With almost 18 years of relevant experience, Gaurav is an expert in sales hiring, SAAS, fintech, payments, NBFC, unsecured lending, vendor finance, FLDG, alliances, partnerships, mentoring, and coaching.
