Gaurav Agrawal is a seasoned engineering leader with over 15 years of experience in delivering end-to-end products. He is currently the Sr. Director of Engineering and India Site Leader at Dremio, where he leads the development of SaaS enterprise products with robust cloud service infrastructure, analytics, and AI. Prior to his current role, Gaurav worked at Microsoft as a Principal Engineering Leader, where he was responsible for areas of business data integration, analytics, and AI for a SaaS product called Microsoft Forms Pro. He played a pivotal role in evolving the features that provided seamless integration of survey data with business data of customers in Dynamics 365 CDS. Additionally, he designed and built the analytics and AI capabilities that helped automate complex survey analytics and provide derived information to business owners. Gaurav also contributed to product strategy, customer onboarding, and worked extensively with the product marketing team on pricing strategy. He built a world-class engineering team that obsesses about customer success and engineering excellence and mentored and developed new leads/managers along the journey. Gaurav has also worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where he managed teams of various sizes for multiple features cutting across releases of Dynamics 365. He played an instrumental role in helping the team move to Agile methodologies and helped build and grow a distributed team for Dynamics 365. Gaurav provided technical leadership and contributed significantly to product growth during his tenure. Gaurav holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from IIT Roorkee and a Bachelor of Science degree from Holkar Science College. He possesses a diverse tech stack that includes senior software engineering, AI, infrastructure, integration, research scientist, and mobile.
