Gaurav Baglekar is an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with over 6 years of experience developing precise inertially stabilized robotic systems for the Defense & Aerospace Industry and fast chargers, batteries, and connectors for EV & Automotive applications. He specializes in robotic drive design, inertially stabilized platform, gimbal, mechanical engineering, thermal, structural, IP67 product, IK10 product, battery charging, and swappable battery system. Gaurav has hands-on experience in precise robotic drive assembly, precision machining and manufacturing, rapid prototyping (laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC machining), injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and mass production. He is skilled in Solidworks, Ansys, Simsolid, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and PTC Creo. With a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) focused in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, Gaurav has experience with the full product life cycle from conceptualization till production for Aerospace & Defense products and Automotive products. Currently, he is working as a System Integration Engineer at Exponent Energy, where he is responsible for the design and development of battery and charging systems. Prior to his current role, Gaurav has worked as an Engineering Manager - Mechanical at Ola and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Tonbo Imaging. He holds a BE degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and completed his 12th grade from Shri Agrasen Vidyalaya, Indore. Gaurav's tech stack includes integration, senior software engineer, and software engineer. He is a strong engineering professional with a demonstrated history of successful projects and a passion for innovation.
