Gaurav Baglekar is an accomplished Mechanical Engineering Manager with over 7 years of experience in the Defense & Space industry. He currently works at Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. as a Mechanical Engineering Manager, where he manages a team of engineers responsible for designing and developing mechanical parts for electric vehicles. Gaurav is a highly skilled engineer with expertise in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), PTC Creo, SOLIDWORKS, SimSolid and ANSYS. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, which has equipped him with a strong foundation in the field. In his current role, Gaurav is responsible for ensuring that the mechanical parts of Ola's electric vehicles are designed to the highest standards of quality and safety. He also works closely with the software engineering team to ensure that the mechanical parts are integrated seamlessly with the software components of the vehicles. Prior to his current role, Gaurav worked as an Assistant Manager Engineering at Ola and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Tonbo Imaging. In these roles, he gained extensive experience in designing and developing mechanical parts for a variety of applications.
