Gaurav Bajaj is a Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the field of AI and ML. He completed his B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, and a PG Diploma in Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence from IIIT-Bangalore. He is an expert in algorithms and has a strong understanding of programming languages and automation tools. Gaurav has experience in building and operating fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed software. He is a certified mentor and has extensive knowledge of ML, AI, and cloud technologies. His excellent communication skills, self-confidence, innovative approach, hard-working nature, and quick adaptability to changing technologies and trends have been his biggest assets. Currently, Gaurav is working as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Site Reliability Engineer at VMware, where he is responsible for creating scalable and reliable services. He aims to achieve a higher level of availability, scalability, and reliability with the services he creates. His work requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, programming expertise, operational experience, logging and monitoring, knowledge of cloud infrastructure like AWS, problem-solving skills at scale, building and operating fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed software in production, and knowledge of CI/CD. In his previous roles, Gaurav worked as a Software Engineer at Calsoft, where he automated the configuration for creating large data centers and explored new emerging automation tools. He also worked as a Web Development Lead at Dextorous Services, where he developed and delivered an e-commerce platform using the Django framework. Gaurav has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, and a PG Diploma in ML & AI from IIIT Bangalore.
