Gaurav Bansal is a skilled Senior Software Engineer currently working with VISA INC. He is a strong engineering professional with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. With a relevant experience of 3.86 years, Gaurav has gained expertise in Java, Microservices, Data Structures, Spring Boot, Rest Apis, MVC, CICD, Bamboo, Jenkins, OOPS, Angular, TypeScript, and Javascript. Currently, Gaurav is working as a Senior Software Engineer for a client, Prudential Financial Insurance Company, at Accolite. He is working on the backend of the Prudential Application which is used by different banks to provide insurance policies to customers. Gaurav has successfully designed the QR-based payment system for the application and mentors 2-3 developers in his team. He has gained exposure to new technologies and real-time solutions in the financial and insurance sectors. In the past, Gaurav has worked on various projects at Accolite. He has worked on the Triage-Tool, which helps in debugging issues in production/dev env. He has also worked on the UI and used Angular and TypeScript. Gaurav has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern to gain knowledge in Angular, Java, Spring, MVC, Rest Apis, Postman, Databases, SQL, etc. He completed one module which is integrated with Accolite's internal platform (HRMS system) to help onboard new customers with Accolite. He has also built an application for Accolite called Customer On-boarding, which helps the company when a new client on-boards with the company.
