Gaurav Bedi is a highly experienced and successful startup founder with a track record of tackling big world problems. With two successful startups under his belt, Gaurav has consistently targeted markets with TAMs of over $1B. He is a hands-on engineering leader with full-stack experience in MERN and Python/Django technical stacks. Gaurav is highly attuned to identifying user needs and creative solution finding. Currently, Gaurav is the Founder and CEO/CTO of FoodTrain, a hyper-localized bulk restaurant food delivery platform built on the MERN stack with React-native. He conducted market discovery in-person, traveling to over 200 restaurants across three states in over 20 cities with the goal of understanding pain points. To prove the value proposition, Gaurav adapted the company strategy through three challenging pivots and built the entire MVP with only one senior engineer and interns. Despite difficult conditions with a global remote team across four time zones, he conducted daily standups to ensure the project's success. Prior to FoodTrain, Gaurav founded and served as CEO/CTO of ezcruiting/universal freelancer, a recruiting startup building a unique job search engine using knowledge graph, semantic search, and ML technologies. He also served as Head of Engineering at Delovery.org, a startup built in response to the Coronavirus and economic fallout, with a mission to deliver supplies where they are needed most. Gaurav holds a CS degree with a Math/Sci concentration from Wright State University. He is a senior software engineer, software engineer, product manager, and expert in web, Python, Django, React Native, test, Typescript, and mobile technologies. With 21.46 years of relevant experience, Gaurav is a highly skilled and accomplished entrepreneur and engineering leader.
