Gaurav Bhadouriya is a highly skilled Lead Bigdata Admin with over 7 years of experience in designing and deploying large-scale/small-scale production Hadoop solutions. He has expertise in migrating Bigdata platforms from on-premises to cloud and cloud to cloud Oracle BDR - AWS cloud. Gaurav has extensive experience in troubleshooting Cloudera migration issues related to Hive, Impala, BDR in Cloudera distribution and upgrading/rolling upgrading in Cloudera Product like CDH/CDP. He has experience in designing, configuring and managing backup and disaster recovery using Data Replication, Snapshots and Cloudera BDR utilities. Gaurav is also experienced in Kafka application tuning for real-time warehousing applications and setting up built-in Cloudera alert configuration/Along with PagerDuty and CheckMk. He has enabled Name-node HA using quorum journal manager (QJM) by setting up standby Namenode, journal node and ZKFC. Gaurav has also deployed HA for resource manager, hiveserver2, hive Metastore, Impala, Hue using Cloudera manager and Haproxy in development environments. He is experienced in configuring SFTP and Password Less SSH to all Cloudera servers and loading and transforming large sets of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from robots and Satellite into HDFS using KAFKA and DSX. Gaurav has experience in tuning the Cloudera services like - Hive, Impala, YARN, etc. and configuring AD integration with Cloudera services like - HUE, Ranger, Oozie, Hive, Impala, etc. He is experienced in setting up retention on logs in the entire cluster like - solr audit logs, ranger audit logs, oozie logs, application logs and renewal of SSL Certs/Cloudera license/Truststore and Keystore. Gaurav has worked with AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, CloudTrail, On-Demand Backup, snapshots, etc. and has experience setting up Amazon S3 bucket and access control plane policies and S3 rules for fault tolerance and backups, across multiple availability zones and multiple regions. He is also proficient in Shell scripting to automate tasks and performance tuning on Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) for CDP/CDH cluster.
