Gaurav Bhalotia is a highly experienced technology leader with nearly 15 years of experience in architecting, implementing, and leading the development of large-scale distributed systems, machine learning, and information retrieval algorithms. He is currently the Founder of millioneyes healthcare technologies, a remote online inner health assessment platform that uses selfie analysis and Ayurveda principles to provide custom-built supplements for individuals' health. Prior to this, Gaurav served as the Vice President of Engineering at Flipkart, where he managed and bootstrapped multiple platforms and contributed to building a strong technology organization in India. He also worked as the Director of Engineering at Kosmix (later WalmartLabs), where he led multidisciplinary engineering and product teams to build a local search engine and created the first version of their categorization engine. He also managed the India operations for Retrevo, a US-based search engine. Gaurav is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai and has a MS in Computer Science from the University of California Berkeley. He has filed multiple patents and has several conference publications in search, categorization, and information extraction. He is currently an independent consultant and advisor with a number of early-stage startups and has served as an Angel Investor/Advisor for companies such as Neuu, Upwardly, Docwise, StayAbode, Rupeek, Makkajai, Twigly, AyurvedaExperience, Evibe Technologies, Your D.O.S.T, Turnaround Systems Pvt Ltd, and Jiyo Natural Pvt Ltd. Gaurav's tech stack includes expertise in senior software engineering, AI, search, information retrieval, machine learning, and mobile development. He is also a Chief Consultant at Bahutbadhiya Labs, where he provides strategy, big data, machine learning, information retrieval, organization strategy and design for various companies.
