Gaurav Chandak is a software engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, he is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Quizizz. In the past, he has worked at Flipkart and Microsoft, gaining valuable experience and skills in the field. Gaurav is also the co-founder of workat.tech, where he managed both the technical and business aspects of the company. He architected most of the products created by the company, including a coding practice platform, a learning management system, and a SaaS product for companies to conduct their screening tests. He built a significant part of the backend of these products and also worked on the frontend of many of them. He managed a team of 2 full-time engineers, a program manager, and 12 interns. Apart from his work, Gaurav is also passionate about helping software engineers. He built workat.tech to help them and continues to work on the same mission as a part-time builder. He believes in creating great things without focusing on revenue or funding and welcomes volunteers who would like to support his cause. Gaurav has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur. He has a strong tech stack, including Javascript, Java, Search, Backend, Redis, Typescript, Research Scientist, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Kafka, Microservices, Mobile, and Frontend.
