Gaurav Chaudhary is a seasoned Consultant and Senior Developer with over 9 years of experience in designing and building backend applications and features that drive business growth. Currently working at Xebia IT Architects as a Consultant, Gaurav has been instrumental in developing an Integrated Tracking Tool using BDD and microservices architecture, Apache Camel, and Apache Solr with End-to-End testing. He played a vital role in finalizing the design of its architecture and is currently working on an application to store various market trades/orders into Hive tables using Apache Spark and transform them into alerts, which can be monitored and acted upon by Risk Surveillance Leads in Actimize. Gaurav's past experience includes working as a Senior Developer at HCL, where he implemented new enhancements in DBInsight, a Private Wealth Management application, which improved user experience. He also worked as a Software Engineer at Bostonlogix, where he worked on various products, including issue tracking connectors, Eclipse plugin for StarTeam, GitCentric, and developed a Retail Management application called Robox using Spring Boot and Thymeleaf. Gaurav holds a PGDAC degree from Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur. His technical expertise includes Spark, Microservices, Backend, Apache Hive, Software Engineering, Spring Boot, and Web development.
