Gaurav Daga is a seasoned business, engineering, and product management leader with over 22 years of experience in driving software products and services from conception to delivery. He has worked at Microsoft, where he oversaw established, startup, and turnaround businesses, such as Remote Desktop Services, cloud migration and disaster recovery, and Microsoft Edge. Gaurav is passionate about building, mentoring, and growing teams, and helping others succeed while driving towards common business goals. At Microsoft, Gaurav owned Remote Desktop technologies as part of the USD 1B revenue generating Remote Desktop Services group. He also managed the acquisition of InMage Systems into Microsoft and led the team comprising of acquired and existing product managers and engineers to launch the service with acquired technology integrated in one year. Gaurav also co-founded Curo, a predictive analytics + SMAC + IoT based digital healthcare startup, primarily focused on preventive health. Gaurav now leads the health and life insurance verticals at ACKO with the mission to protect all of India by 2047 by providing easy to understand, hassle-free health and life insurance. He is accountable for building out customer-facing operations teams in India and business ownership of the products built on the Compass Real Estate Knowledge Graph. Gaurav has also led all product and customer-facing operations for the Compass India organization, incubating and launching multiple data and AI-first products built on a brand-new knowledge graph fully owned and operated by the India team. Gaurav holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from PSG College of Technology. He has also completed courses in Leading Organizations And Change and Innovation of Products and Services from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Gaurav's tech stack includes Azure, AI, product management, and infrastructure.
