Gaurav Das is a final year Computer Science and Engineering student at the National Institute of Technology Silchar. He is a Full Stack Developer with over three years of experience, having worked with various startups, led open-source projects, and managed open-source programs. Gaurav is passionate about reading, writing, collaborating with new people, and developing software solutions. He has participated and led various Open Source programs, and he loves working and growing with a team. Gaurav has expertise in JavaScript, C, C++, Python, Data Structures & Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Node JS, React Js, Mongo DB, SQL, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, and Cloud Services. He has HackerRank and LeetCode coding profiles, and his personal website and GitHub profile are available for viewing. Currently, Gaurav is an Engineering Intern at Eka Care, where he is working with the Data Science team to enhance the Medical Records data pipeline. He revamped the data pipeline to make it more scalable and reliable by introducing robust logging and monitoring. He also orchestrated the pipeline in an async way to remove the complexity of dependency among different stages of the workflow. Previously, Gaurav worked as a Software Engineer at GitHub, where he collaborated with the senior developers in the team to prepare design documents before the actual implementations. He also developed CLI-based applications using Golang. At Listnr, a one-stop podcasting solution, Gaurav improved and added new components to the Backend API of the application built using Node JS, TypeScript, Express, and MongoDB. He implemented an Analytics system for the application using RudderStack for effective collection of user data and generated the Analytics using AWS Athena. He also built various POCs using Python for audio and video manipulation. Gaurav's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Silchar, and he has completed his high school education from Cotton University and Assam Jatiya Bidyalay.
