Gaurav Dewangan is a highly skilled Software Engineer and Research Scientist with a strong background in Computer Vision, Image Segmentation, and Neural Networks. He is currently working as an SDE at Qualcomm, where he is part of the Snapdragon processor team. Gaurav's research interests revolve around various areas, including Probabilistic Graphical Models, Deep Generative Models, Bayesian Networks, and Condition-Based Monitoring of Electrical Systems or any Physical System. He is also interested in the Brain-Computer Interface domain to understand the effects on the brain during various activities, including emotions. Currently, Gaurav is focusing on deep neural accelerator and learning to increase the power and speed efficiency of processors. He is a dedicated learner and spends his free time learning new algorithms and daydreaming about the work going on in DeepMind, OpenAI, and Neuralink. Before joining Qualcomm, Gaurav worked as a Software Engineer at Airbus and as a Computer Vision Lab Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has a Master of Science degree in Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Gaurav has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies, including Software Engineering, Research Science, Computer Vision, Image Segmentation, and Neural Networks.
