Gaurav Gogia is a Research Engineer at Tenable with a passion for building a career in the security space. With a Master's degree in Digital Forensics & Information Security from Gujarat Forensic Sciences University and a Bachelor's degree in BCA from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Gaurav has relevant experience of 3.20 years in the industry. At Tenable, Gaurav is responsible for Security R&D, Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, and Terrascan. He has also worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Accurics, where he wrote software for security policies enforcement and automation, translated benchmarks into security policies, wrote security policies, rules, and signatures, and conducted research and development in DevSecOps. He worked with technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP, K8s, Terraform, and GoLang to deliver his responsibilities. Gaurav has also worked as an SLP Coordinator Intern at Amazon, where he developed an internal mobile application for performing internal physical security tasks by the SLP team throughout PAN India. He reconfigured and modified backend server code, RESTful APIs to work with the mobile application, performed manual penetration testing, and provided solutions for vulnerabilities in the software used by the SLP team PAN India. He also wrote SOP documents and coordinated with regional investigation teams. Gaurav's tech stack includes Research Scientist, AWS, infra, Terraform, Software Engineer, Golang, GCP, Mobile, test, and Backend. He is a digital forensics grad with a keen interest in DevSecOps.
