Gaurav Grover is a Fullstack Software Engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and computer vision. Currently, he is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Zoomcar, where he is responsible for developing software solutions that enhance the user experience. Gaurav has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. During his time at the institute, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Machine Vision Labs, where he developed state-of-the-art computer vision AI algorithms to predict the probability of a person being distracted on the road by a cellphone-like device using low-resolution CCTV cameras. Before joining Zoomcar, Gaurav worked as a Software Engineer at Healofy, where he worked on India's largest women social network with social commerce components that serve 600k Daily Active Users. He redesigned and developed a unified API response for nearly 10 million daily notifications. He actively participated in cost optimization sprints, saving the company ~1.5 million INR monthly, and helped in architecture migration from server-less to auto-scaled VM instance groups, which utilized above 3TB of dynamic data. Gaurav has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies, including Javascript, Java, NodeJS, SQL, and Spring Boot. He is also a skilled Research Scientist with expertise in AI, ML, and Computer Vision.
