Gaurav Kumar is a Senior Data Scientist at Juniper Networks with 6.94 years of relevant experience. He is an expert in the field of AI and Deep Learning, having developed cutting-edge solutions throughout his career. Gaurav is currently working on implementing state-of-the-art Deep Learning solutions at Juniper Networks. Gaurav has also worked on developing an open source library called Fastestimator, which integrates Tensorflow and PyTorch in a single unified framework to simplify deep-learning model development for GE Healthcare AI eco-system. He is interested in data augmentation, model compression, and reinforcement learning. Prior to his current role, Gaurav worked as a Senior Data Scientist at General Electric, where he developed a deep learning framework integrating Tensorflow and PyTorch for GE Healthcare AI eco-system. He also worked on developing approaches for neural network compression by conducting experiments on classification, segmentation, and detection tasks. Gaurav has also worked as a Consultant at Absolutdata Analytics, where he devised a beverage assortment optimization engine based on machine learning/deep learning techniques for one of the world's largest beverage companies. He designed data-driven marketing campaigns to increase revenue and improve customer engagement for one of Malaysia's leading Oil and Gas companies. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is proficient in several technologies, including Tensorflow, Pytorch, Python, ML, AWS, Scikit, Keras, SQL, Recommendation system, XGBoost, Random Forest, Seaborn, Sagemaker, Apache Hive, and Pandas.
