Gaurav Kumar is a Technical Specialist at HCL with over 18 years of experience in the HR domain and 16 years of experience in SAP-HCM/SF implementation and support. Gaurav has a strong educational background that allows him to understand and improve business process needs and practices. He is skilled in project/program management, requirement gathering, business blue printing, customization, configuration, unit testing, production move, and go-live global support with an in-depth understanding of HR and SAP-enabled HR business processes. Before joining HCL, Gaurav worked as an SAP HCM Consultant at TCS and as a Senior Software Engineer at Accenture. During his tenure at Accenture, he worked on the rollout project for Coke, USA, where he designed the system for the gaps coming in the rollout of the bottlers, designed the process of deploying the template and change management, and prepared project plans and status reports. He was also responsible for business requirement analysis, preparing functional specifications, high-level designs, technical specifications, unit test plans, and integration test plans. Gaurav also worked on the global support project for Whirlpool Corporation, USA, where he was responsible for business requirement analysis, preparing functional specifications, high-level designs, unit/integration test plans, configuration as per functional specifications, testing processes as per test plans, and testing ABAP developments as per functional specifications. He was also involved in FTP/PGP files transfer, UNIX scripting, and Tivoli Job Scheduling. Gaurav holds an MBA in Human Resource from Symbiosis, an MCA in Computer Application from IGNOU, and a B.Sc. in Computer Application from Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University. He has a relevant experience of 14.69 years and is proficient in test, integration, and software engineering.
